I like to write poetry
that’s not all haiku
I started easy
writing my first triolet
it came too easy!
No One Tells Me, “You Drink Too Much Coffee”
No one tells me, “You drink too much coffee”
they only tell me, “You drink too much beer”
although the latter makes me feel lofty
no one tells me, “you drink too much coffee”
while both of these taste like bitter toffee
I get more pleasure from drinking a beer

Over the Weekend
I volunteered for beerfest
serving people beer
I love Bold City
but I served Intuition
for a change of pace
their beers are tasty
though I’m not a fan of hops
their red ale is great
fun was had by all
and a few gentle ribbings
between breweries
hatchet burying
since my joke came off as harsh
here’s my real review
great varieties
make both breweries stand out
and competetive!
if you love good hops
Inuition is your place
they’re the hoppiest
The People’s Pale Ale
not your grandfather’s Pale Ale
it packs a nice kick
Riverkeeper Red
a strong and hearty red ale
it’s delicious too!
I-Ten I.P.A.
the hoppiest beer offered
brilliantly done!
The Jon Boat Kolsh Style
perfect beer for the summer
crisp, and refreshing!
Downtown Jacksonville
lost “London Bridge” last summer
and it was a shame
Luckily this year
new ownership leads the way
for the BURRO BAR
Mostly Bike Centric
but quality beer on tap
and a great hangout
I stopped for a bit
to see the new atmosphere
and was BLOWN AWAY
